hi there!

I’m Mari.
On Marivelous Me! you’ll find recipes, food gifts, food I’ve traveled for and food solutions. Poke around, maybe you’ll find inspiration for something you’re working on. Enjoy!

La Casita Mexicana

One of the things Mr. Mari bemoaned while we were living in New York was the Mexican food. ‘It’s not good here!’ he’d exclaim. Now that we live in LA, Mr. Mari isn't complaining at all.

We went to La Casita Mexicana in Bell, CA after our Ron Finley garden planting. Mr. Mari and I went with two food-loving friends, Anna and Christina and boy did we eat well. It's very clear that the two chefs, Jaime and Ramiro, care greatly about the tradtional foods they create and serve. I don't know when we'll be returning since there are so many other places to try but I definitely don't think this will be our only visit. ¡Hasta luego, La Casita Mexicana!
